The Whitley Art Gallery is primarily an Online Gallery (Viewing by Appointment) run by David Whitley, and his wife Mary, from their home in Saltmills, Co Wexford, Ireland. We participate in Art Fairs in Ireland and the UK.
David studied at Reading University, England under Neil MacGregor and Kerry Downes before graduating with a BA Hons Degree in History of Art and Architecture. For over 40 years now David has been an avid collector of Contemporary Artists, 19th and 20th Century Masters Prints and Drawings as well as Ukiyo-e Woodblock prints from the Edo period.
Using the expertise and contacts in the art world David has gathered over the years, the Whitley Art Gallery brings you beautiful original works of art at competitive, affordable prices.
We buy and sell work so if you are looking for something specific let us know and we will do our best to find it for you through our network of contacts. If you have works you wish to sell, contact us and we may purchase them from you or try to link you to someone who might be interested.
